Whether it is mixed feed, or injection method must be through the melt extrusion process, with the heat, shear, shear rate and other related rheological behavior are closely linked. The results show that: (1) The difference in rheological properties of the masterbatch and the spinning base melt at the same spinning temperature is a key factor affecting the spinning process and reducing the quality of the product. (2) the color masterbatch at a certain temperature rheological properties in addition to the pigment (dye) performance, but also do not control the carrier MFR and k worthy of a stable point. (3) different spinning process, different spinning base material requires a corresponding carrier of masterbatch, conventional spinning and high-speed spinning should form a series of product use instructions. In summary, it can be concluded that the rheological law of the masterbatch used in polypropylene processing can be used to characterize the polypropylene spinning material and the masterbatch used. Their availability, in addition to the melt flow rate (MFR), the k value and n value can be used as a characterization parameter.
